Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 and 630 Chipsets

Qualcomm is the market leader when it comes to Smartphone Chipsets just like Intel is the Leader in worldwide PC and Server markets. It’s ARM chipsets deliver enough power and sufficient battery life to power smartphones ranging from modern day Flagships to Entry level devices.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 630 Chipsets range in 3 tiers now:

  • Low End / Entry Level.
  • Mid End.
  • High End.

The Mid End is where all the competition is cut throat and is further divided into the Higher Mid-End and Lower Mid End. Qualcomm has some serious contenders here such as the Mediatek Chipsets by Mediatek, Kirin Chipsets by Huawei and so on.

To counter these threats, Qualcomm has recently launched the Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 630 chipsets which deliver impressive performance and superior battery life for the price points that they target.
